Q4 2023 Performance of Top iOS Pair Puzzle Apps in Europe

As the year 2023 came to a close, the Pair Puzzle category on iOS in Europe saw an intriguing shift in user engagement and app popularity. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a clear view of how these apps fared in the final quarter.
Triple Match 3D experienced a notable increase in revenue, peaking at roughly $292K in the last week of December. Downloads also saw a significant rise, jumping from 20K to over 40K in mid-December, before settling at around 25K towards the end of the month. Weekly active users reflected this growth, with numbers climbing from 138K to a high of 177K before a slight drop to 161K.
Meanwhile, Tile Busters showed more consistency in revenue, with slight fluctuations around the $120K to $130K mark, before dipping to $104K and then recovering to approximately $107K by year-end. Downloads for the app, however, witnessed a downward trend from 40K to just over 6K in November, followed by a rebound to 20K. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 147K to 93K and then improving to 135K.
Match Factory! had a progressive quarter with revenue climbing steadily from a modest $19K to an impressive $152K. Downloads surged in the latter half of December, hitting a peak of 78K. Weekly active users saw exponential growth, starting at 31K in late September and skyrocketing to 209K by the end of December.
Block Jam 3D observed a gradual increase in revenue, from around $43K to $72K. Downloads saw peaks and valleys, with a noteworthy increase to 35K in the third week of November. Active users grew from 47K to 80K, demonstrating a solid gain in engagement.
Lastly, Zen Match - Relaxing Puzzle maintained a steady revenue stream, starting at $44K and reaching nearly $65K by the quarter's end. Downloads saw a positive trend, more than quadrupling from the start of the quarter to nearly 17K. Active users saw a slight decline initially from 144K to 124K, but ended the quarter on a high note at 146K.
